Highlights - Hearing with Luis de Guindos, candidate for the position of ECB Vice-President, 26.02 - Committee on Economic and Monetary Affairs 22-02-2018 04:22 PM CET Following the ECOFIN decision of 20 February to nominate Luis de Guindos, Spanish Minister of Economy, as candidate for the position of ECB Vice-President as of 1 June 2018, ECON welcomes on 26 February at 17.15 the candidate for a public hearing. In accordance with Article 283(2) TFEU, the European Parliament is consulted on the Council's recommendation.
