Trump won the primary elections in Connecticut, Maryland and Pennsylvania on Tuesday, according to The Associated Press, padding his delegate lead and increasing his chances of securing the Republican nomination before the party's convention in July. Hillary Clinton was also a winner, taking Maryland and hoping to take more states to deal a blow to Senator Bernie Sanders of Vermont, whose hopes of winning the Democratic nomination continue to fade.
