Regulating our Future Podcast

Welcome to the first Regulating our Future Podcast. It's the end of the year and we think it's a good time to take stock of where we are and what we have planned for the New Year. We are committed to updating you on a regular basis on the work the FSA is doing on the future of food regulation. Through our regular Newsletter and Podcast we will continue to update you on our plans and progress, who we've been talking to, what we have heard and what's going to happen next.

Listen to the Podcast

Listen to our Chair, Heather Hancock, discuss the role that Local Authorities will play within the new regulatory model, the Government's support for the programme and the impact that the UK's EU exit will have. Nina Purcell, lead FSA Director, looks back at the success of the past year, discusses how the Food Hygiene Rating Scheme (FHRSfits into the programme and outlines plans for the year ahead.   We also speak to Leigh Sharpington, Regulating our Future Programme ManagerLeigh reflects on progress over the last few months, his highlights so far and his biggest challenge to date.
