Swedish film "The Square" has been awarded the Cannes Film Festival's top honor, the Palme d'Or. There was also success for German actress Diane Kruger for part in revenge drama "In the Fade."
US considering laptop ban on all international flights
US Homeland Security Secretary John Kelly said he was considering banning laptop computers on all international flights in and out of the country. Kelly added there were signs of "a real threat."
Trump tells advisers US will scrap Paris accord - media
A Washington-based news site reports that US President Trump has told "confidantes" he will quit the landmark climate agreement. The uncertainty over Washington's position riled other leaders at the G7 summit in Italy.

The UK's flagship carrier has blamed an "IT system issue" for the cancellation of all flights out of London's main airports. Authorities advised travelers not to head to airports as delays continued for a second day.
