BREAKING: Exit polls: French voters hand newly elected President Emmanuel Macron a landslide victory in parliamentary elections

  Macron's party, Republic on the Move!, was created less than two years ago, yet it dominated in the first round of voting last week and French polling agencies predict it won a large majority in Sunday's second round. Macron, 39, the youngest French head of state since Napoleon Bonaparte, won office in May, promising to lead a revolution to renew confidence in his country's government and revive its stagnant economy with an agenda mixing liberal and conservative policies.
