London Bridge attack

Good morning, and welcome to the Morning Mail.

The story leading our website this morning is the London Bridge attack, where seven people have been killed and dozens injured when a white rental van ploughed into pedestrians on London Bridge. The van continued on to nearby Borough Market where three attackers emerged and carried out multiple stabbings in pubs and restaurants. Police have been praised for their swift response, after all three attackers were killed within eight minutes of the first call reporting an incident on London Bridge. Here's a timeline of the attack, and what we know so far. The police are treating the attack as a terrorist incident and, as they race to establish if attackers were part of a network, 12 arrests have been made in the hunt for associates. Our continuing live blog and more coverage below, or find everything about the London Bridge attack on site here.
