BREAKING: President Trump expected to lift ban on selling military gear to local police forces

  The Trump administration is preparing to lift a controversial ban on the transfer of some surplus military equipment to police forces that was enacted following the battlefield-style response to rioting in Ferguson, Mo., three years ago. The new policy is outlined in draft documents obtained by USA TODAY.
