Quasars may answer how starburst galaxies were extinguished 08/02/2017 02:30 PM EDT University of Iowa astronomers have located quasars inside four dusty starburst galaxies. The observations suggest quasars may starve this type of galaxy of energy needed to form stars. Results published in the Astrophysical Journal.
