Tomas Re was riding BART to work one morning when he felt an elbow in his side. Unlike most jabs on cramped commuter trains, this one was deliberate. "This guy turned around and elbowed me and started trying to fight me," Re said. In the midst of the one-sided struggle, the combatant repeated a phrase: "F--- tech people." As a young worker in San Francisco's technology sector, Re says he feels "lots of resentment."
