We're joining forces with three other lupus groups to host a Patient-Focused Drug Development Meeting next year to provide the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) with perspectives from people with lupus, advocates and caregivers. This collaboration will give the lupus community an opportunity to share insights that could help develop new treatments for the disease.

Lupus can develop in anyone, male or female, of any age, including children, teenagers, and adults. While we do not yet fully understand what causes lupus, we do know that having lupus doesn't diminish a man's levels of testosterone, ability to perform sexually, or potential to become a father.
