It's a game-changer in breast cancer treatment, particularly for some types of breast cancer that grow and spread more aggressively. Unlike chemotherapy, targeted therapies attack very specific components of cancer cells while leaving healthy, normal cells alone. What's even more exciting? Targeted therapies hold the potential to treat even some of the most drug-resistant breast cancers out there. But here's the catch—we still have critical questions about targeted therapies that must be answered before they can be used more widely. And in the meantime, breast cancer patients fighting for their lives need our support. For the far-too many women who are battling against breast cancer—will you make a gift during National Breast Cancer Awareness Month to support cancer patients and cutting-edge, life-saving research?
