Earth will go between Jupiter and the sun on April 7. You can't miss Jupiter. It's the brightest thing ascending in the east each evening now. But - just to be sure - follow the arc in the Big Dipper's handle. Jupiter is near the star Spica.
Here's another way to be sure it's Jupiter ...
Look for the small, square-ish constellation Corvus the Crow nearby.
