Geminid meteors in moonlight, but Jupiter bright before dawn
You won't see as many Geminids this year, but, if you're out before dawn, watch for bright Jupiter, too. Tom Wildoner caught this photo December 6 and wrote: "Jupiter simply looks awesome early in the morning just coming up through the bare trees of the Broad Mountain here in Carbon County, Pennsylvania."
