New Program Director for Physics: Dr. Steven Southworth 01/04/2017 03:47 AM EST   The Physics Division of NSF is pleased to announce that Dr. Stephen Southworth has joined the Division as Program Director and, along with Alex Cronin, will manage the Experimental Atomic, Molecular and Optical Physics Program.   Steve is on sabbatical from Argonne National Laboratory where he is a Senior Scientist in the Atomic, Molecular and Optical Physics group and former group leader.  Steve is a Fellow of the American Physical Society.  His research focuses ...
