This report presents estimates of population-based health care access and use of clinical preventive services recommended by the U.S. Preventive Services Task Force or the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices among U.S. adults aged 18–64 years. CDC analyzed data from the 2014 Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System to assess health insurance coverage, access to health care, and use of selected clinical preventive services by state, state Medicaid expansion status, expanded geographic region, and federal poverty level.
