Economy Gross value added (GVA) for local enterprise partnerships in the UK: 1997 to 2015 This release contains data on economic output and labour productivity for each English local enterprise partnership (LEP). Economic output is expressed as nominal gross value added (GVA). Productivity is measured as GVA per hour worked and GVA per filled job. Over the period 2008 to 2015, which covers the economic downturn and subsequent recovery, Oxfordshire LEP (3.9%) and London LEP (3.8%) had the highest average annual growth rates for nominal GVA. The lowest average annual growth over this period was Humber LEP (1.0%). People, population and community Deaths registered by area in England and Wales, monthly provisional: Jan 2017 The provisional number of deaths registered in England and Wales in January 2017 was 57,330; this represents an increase of 11,960 deaths in comparison with the previous month and an increase of 9,904 deaths in comparison with the same month in 2016. The high number of deaths registered in January 2017 coincides with circulating influenza. Deaths registered in England and Wales, provisional: week ending 17 Feb 2017 The provisional number of deaths registered in England and Wales in the week ending 17 February 2017 (week 7) was 11,644; this represents a decrease of 625 deaths registered in comparison with the previous week (week 6).
