Consumer price inflation basket of goods and services: 2017

The "shopping baskets" of items used in compiling the various measures of consumer price inflation are reviewed each year. Some items are taken out of the baskets and some are brought in to make sure the measures are up to date and representative of consumer spending patterns. In 2017, 16 items have been added to the CPIH basket, 11 items have been removed and 8 have been modified.

Customer satisfaction and business priorities review

The deadline for completing the ONS customer satisfaction and business priorities review has been extended to 20 March. This gives you more time to have your say on what matters to you and how you think we are performing.

In previous years we have carried out a dedicated customer satisfaction survey. This time, not only will your answers tell us how satisfied you are, they will also help influence our business planning.

The survey only takes 15 minutes to complete, and your views and feedback are very important to us.
