BREAKING: House Intelligence Chairman Devin Nunes steps aside from Russia investigation

  Rep. Devin Nunes, R-Calif., chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, said in a statement on Thursday morning that he would temporarily step aside from the committee's Russia investigation due to what he called "entirely false and politically motivated" ethics complaints filed against him. Nunes said he would continue to fulfill other responsibilities as the panel's chairman.
