This weekend a great time to see Venus

Venus will be 46 degrees west of the sun on Saturday morning, or about as far from the sun on our sky's dome as it can be.

Find the Summer Triangle

Find the Summer Triangle asterism ascending in the east on June and July evenings.  It's a large star pattern made of 3 bright stars in 3 separate constellations.

Hurricane names 2017

The Atlantic hurricane season starts June 1 and ends November 30. Here are the hurricane names for the 2017 season.
