Are magnets the secret to Elastigirl's powers? 07/26/2017 11:13 AM EDT Under certain conditions, the magnetic properties of a material can predict the relationship between its elasticity and temperature, a University of Nebraska-Lincoln physicist has found. Given the ease with which magnetic fields can be manipulated, the study hints that elasticity could someday be tailored with the press of a button or turn of a knob.
