TERR delegation
On 7-8 December 2017, a delegation from the Special Committee on Terrorism (TERR) visited Europol and Eurojust.

At Europol TERR Members met with Mr Rob Wainwright, Executive Director of Europol. During the second part of their mission, TERR Members were welcomed by Mr Ladislav Hamran, President of Eurojust. These exchanges of views dealt with the area of expertise of the Special Committee, allowing Committee members to familiarise themselves with Eurojust's operational support to the Member States in the fight against terrorism, particularly Eurojust's coordination tools (e.g. coordination meetings, coordination centres, JITs). Members also learned about Eurojust's close cooperation with Europol and third countries in terrorism cases and its added value, as well as Eurojust's strategic work in countering terrorism.

In the course of their mission TERR Members also met with Mr Omar Ramadan, Head of the Radicalisation Awareness Network Centre of Excellence, and with Mr Dick Schoof, the Dutch counter-terrorism coordinator.
