Trump honors Rev. Billy Graham's 'extraordinary life'


"[President Donald J. Trump] honored the life of Rev. Billy Graham Wednesday as he laid in honor in the U.S. Capitol Rotunda, hailing him as 'legendary' and saying he lived an 'extraordinary life,'" Al Weaver reports in the Washington Examiner.


"Today in the center of this great chamber lies legendary Billy Graham. An ambassador for Christ who reminded the world of the power of prayer and the gift of God's grace," President Trump said.

In The Hill, Charlie Katebi writes that "over the past four years, the cost of individual health insurance has more than doubled under the Affordable Care Act, commonly known as Obamacare. But on Tuesday, the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) proposed new rules to offer consumers an expanded array of affordable health coverage options." Katebi notes that "these changes are the latest moves by the Trump administration to rein in the growing cost of health care."

The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports that "Express Scripts employees will receive a one-time bonus" thanks to tax cuts signed into law by President Trump. Samantha Liss writes that "the average bonus will be about $1,200, Tim Wentworth CEO of Express Scripts said. The company will also create a $30 million education fund for employees' children."

"Franklin Savings Bank will use a portion of its tax savings to provide employees with a special bonus in recognition of their contribution to the continued success of the bank," the Laconia Daily Sun reports. "All employees will receive a $1,000 bonus."

In a video for Fox News, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials say that Oakland's mayor is putting lives at risk through her decision to tip off illegal immigrants when federal enforcement raids are imminent. "I don't know what benefit there is to allowing individuals that are here illegally, committing crimes against innocent victims" to evade the law, says ICE's head of enforcement and removal.
