Coming up in committees 23-03-2018 09:04 AM CET Protection of the EU's financial interests, EIB Annual Report: committee votes CONT - 23-03-2018 - 09:04 The Committee on Budgetary Control will vote on its reports on the "Annual Report 2016 on the Protection of the EU's Financial Interests – Fight against fraud" and on the "Annual Report 2016 on the Control of the financial activities of the European Investment Bank". It will also vote on the report concerning the implementation of the budget by the European Commission during the financial year 2016. The meeting will take place on 26-27.03.18. The discussion is set to focus on the evaluation and implementation of the Commission Work Programme and the priorities up to the end of the legislature. The aim is to gather expert input from 17 parliamentary committees in order to start preparing a position ahead of the Commission's Draft Budget, expected in May. The first of such discussions will take place in the Committee on Environment, Public Health and Food Safety, and in the Committee on Civil Liberties, Justice and Home Affairs.
