Aurinia Phase III Clinical Trial for Voclosporin

Last week, Aurinia Pharmaceuticals announced its plans for a single Phase III clinical trial for voclosporin in the treatment of lupus nephritis. This follows the successful completion of an end of Phase II meeting with the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). The new trial is expected to commence in 2017.

Recently, we launched the Cut it Out campaign to ask everyone to cut something simple out of their daily routine – such as coffee, alcohol, sweets, or TV – and then make a donation to support lupus research. As part of the campaign, we developed a video to capture the devastating impact of lupus.
