BREAKING: Trump fires acting Attorney General Sally Yates after she ordered Justice Dept. lawyers to stop defending immigration order

  Acting Attorney General Sally Yates, who has been directing the Justice Department during the transition of Trump's administration, was fired by President Trump Monday after saying she will not enforce the president's executive order that suspends immigration from seven majority-Muslim countries. Trump appointed Dana Boente, U.S. Attorney for Easter District of Virgina, as acting AG.
