Study supports increased funding for long-term ecological research 03/16/2017 10:15 AM EDT Funding for long-term ecological and environmental studies has been on a downward trend for more than a decade, yet such studies are of critical importance for advancing the science of ecology and for informing policy decisions about natural resources and environmental issues.
