L'astronaute de l'ESA Thomas Pesquet a passé six mois à bord de la Station spatiale internationale pour sa mission Proxima, où il a mené 60 expériences pour le compte des partenaires du laboratoire de recherche en impesanteur, ainsi que des opérations de maintenance de l'avant-poste orbital. Thomas a également effectué deux sorties dans l'espace et partagé sur les réseaux sociaux son extraordinaire aventure.

100th Blastoff from Historic Pad 39A Features SpaceX Resupply to Space Station and Land Landing June 1: Watch Live

KENNEDY SPACE CENTER, FL - The 100th blastoff from NASA's historic pad 39A features a SpaceX Dragon resupply mission carrying three tons of science and crew supplies to the International Space Station as well as another unfathomable ground landing of the first stage.

Liftoff of the SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket carrying the unmanned Dragon cargo freighter from seaside pad 39A at NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida is slated for 5:55 p.m. EDT Thursday, June 1.

The next mission to the Earth-orbiting laboratory will be the eleventh commercial resupply services flight for SpaceX.

New research led by Z. Jeffrey Chen at The University of Texas at Austin might offer a break for the U.S. cotton industry, which has been facing tough times due to unpredictable weather and low prices. Chen and a team of scientists have taken the first step toward a new way of breeding heartier, more productive cotton through a process called epigenetic modification.
