Tonight … Why no eclipse of the May full moon?
The May 10, 2017 full moon swings a whopping 5 degrees - 10 moon diameters - north of the plane of Earth's orbit around the sun. It misses being in Earth's shadow by a wide margin.
What are the full moon names?
