Cassini finds 'big empty' near Saturn

It's not really empty, but the space between Saturn and its innermost ring is far emptier than scientists thought it would be. Cassini will make its 2nd dive through this gap at 3:38 p.m. EDT (19:38 UTC) today.

Eta Aquarid meteor shower rising to peak
