People, population and community Deaths registered in England and Wales, provisional: week ending 19 May 2017 The provisional number of deaths registered in England and Wales in the week ending 19 May 2017 (week 20) was 10,288; this represents a decrease of 405 deaths registered in comparison with the previous week (week 19).
