About the Survey

Sandia National Laboratories' Wind Energy Technologies Department has undertaken a study to mitigate radar interference and lightning impacts to wind turbines and wind farms.  As a wind energy stakeholder and professional in this industry, we encourage you to respond to our short survey to help us better understand your concerns and issues facing the industry. Your responses will:

  1. Enable Sandia Labs to align our research and solutions with the main issues and concerns of the industry regarding radar and lightning impacts.
  2. Provide an opportunity for Sandia Labs researchers to collaborate with you, based on your interests, to focus and adapt solutions (to radar and lightning issues) that may be arising in your particular application or business space.

Privacy Notice

For ease of response, the survey questions have been formatted online.  To ensure confidentiality, all responses are managed on Sandia's website, which is an internal and secure site in which only Sandia staff can access.  Our staff will be happy to provide you a copy of your online responses once submitted.  If for some reason you are not able to respond online, a personal survey can also be emailed to you.
