Prime Minister of Greece Visits the White House On Tuesday afternoon, President Trump welcomed the Prime Minister of Greece, Alexis Tsipras, to the White House. After a working luncheon, the two leaders held a joint press conference in the Rose Garden. Both leaders remarked on the strong, historic relationship that Greece and the United States share. "A strong and flourishing Greece provides immense opportunity for American trade, investment, and job creation," said President Trump. Prime Minister Tsipras expressed his gratitude for the invitation to the White House and spoke of the nations' relationship in light of recent and historical partnerships.
