Project UFO highlights solutions - Unmanned Freight Operations
Use of unmanned aircraft is steadily increasing, especially in the freight transport sector – and hey are becoming increasingly important. In future, freight aircraft could increasingly be controlled from the ground. The German Aerospace Center (Deutsches Zentrum fuer Luft- und Raumfahrt; DLR) Unmanned Freight Operations (UFO) project is investigating how to integrate these aircraft into the existing air transport system.
