Highlights - TERR Committee meeting of 22 and 23 January 2018 - Special Committee on Terrorism 24-01-2018 06:27 PM CET The meeting started with an in camera exchange of views with Professors Willy Bruggemean and Dirk Van Daele on the outcome of the Belgian Chamber of representatives parliamentary inquiry responsible for examining the circumstances leading up to the terrorist attacks of 22 March 2016. This debate was followed by a public exchange of views with Mr Fabricio Leggeri, Frontex Executive Director. On the second day of the committee meeting, TERR Membersl first held an in camera exchange of views with Mr Paweł Herczyński, Director for Security Policy at the European External Action Service. Last but not least, Commissioner Dimitris Avramopoulos responsible for Migration, Home Affairs and Citizenship addressed the committee (public).
