A hearing of the selected candidate by the Council for the post of Executive Director of Europol, Catherine De Bolle, will be held on the same day. The Committee will then issue a non-binding opinion to the Council on De Bolle's appointment. 5% staff reduction case review: committee debate CONT - 26-01-2018 - 09:14 The Budgetary Control Committee will meet European Court of Auditors representatives to hold a rapid case review on implementing a 5% staff reduction in the establishment plans of the EU institutions, bodies and agencies, for the period 2013-2017. A commitment on this reduction was made by the Inter-institutional Agreement of December 2013. The meeting will take place on 29.01.18. EU administrative law: public consultation on citizens' expectations JURI - 24-01-2018 - 18:54 EU law establishes citizens' rights to an open, independent and efficient EU administration. The Committee on Legal Affairs has therefore launched a 12-week consultation process in December 2017, to determine what the public expects regarding its relations with the EU's administration. To this end, individuals, companies, professors, universities and any other institution interested in taking part in the consultation can complete a questionnaire which is available through the link below.
