Happy 103rd birthday, Rocky Mountain National Park! On January 26, 1915, Rocky Mountain National Park was established, protecting 415 square miles of spectacular mountain environments just a short drive from Denver, Colorado.

 

As one of the nation's highest national parks, Rocky Mountain makes you feel like you're on top of the world. Here, you'll find more than just rugged mountains. The park is home to an amazing range of landscapes -- from evergreen forests to crystal clear lakes and fields of wildflowers -- and Trail Ridge Road, which is a scenic wonder road of the world.
