Newsletters - February - Committee on Employment and Social Affairs 22-02-2018 03:07 PM CET On 27 February EMPL will vote on the draft report of Krzysztof Hetman. 270 amendments have been tabled and the shadows negotiated 37 compromises. The objective of this report is to allow the Parliament to make comments that might be necessary on the employment and social situation in the EU, the progress made towards the Europe 2020 employment and social targets and the related priorities put forward in the Commission's package, with a view to the 2018 Spring European Council. The plenary vote is foreseen for the March session. The Rapporteur Guillaume Balas (S&D, FR) proposes 61 amendments and 639 amendments have been tabled by other Members.
