One adult was transported to the hospital Sunday night for smoke inhalation after a fire broke out in a residential building in San Francisco's Tenderloin, authorities said. The blaze started about about 7 p.m. on the 400 block of Eddy St. and was quickly contained, according to the San Francisco Fire Department. One person, who was not identified, was taken to a hospital for observation due to smoke inhalation, the fire department said. The person had non-life-threatening injuries.
