Highlights - Presentation by the Commission of CEF midterm evaluation - Committee on Transport and Tourism 13-03-2018 10:29 AM CET The Committee will discuss the findings of the Commission's mid-term evaluation of the Connecting Europe Facility (CEF). The CEF for Transport is the key funding instrument to support investments in European transport infrastructure, with the aim to realise the TEN-T core network by 2030 and the comprehensive network by 2050. The budget for CEF-Transport in the period 2014-2020 has been 24.05 billion Euro. The presentation will take place on 19 March 2018 at 16.00 in the József Antall building, room JAN 4Q1, and will be webstreamed. More than 2000 amendments have been tabled to the package and the Rapporteurs will try to steer the Committee towards compromise texts in the upcoming months. Debates will take place on 20 March 2018 at 14.30 in the József Antall building, room JAN 4Q1, and will be webstreamed.
