06-03-2018 10:29 AM CET The European Court of Auditors published on 30 November a special report on the implementation of the Single European Sky – EU flagship initiative launched to address defragmentation of Europe's air traffic navigation system based on a patchwork of national flight information regions and loose cooperation of air navigation service providers. The audit team, led by Mr Pufan, concluded that the initiative has led to a greater culture of efficiency in ATM, however, European airspace management remains fragmented and the SES as a concept has not yet been achieved. Mr Pufan spoke before TRAN Committee to give more details about ECA's findings and recommendations.
