Breaking: Gary Cohn, President Trump’s top White House economics adviser, to resign after tariff disagreement

  Gary Cohn, the former Goldman Sachs executive who help shape President Trump's economic policy, is leaving, the White House announced Tuesday. Cohn's resignation follows last week's announcement by Trump that he was putting a 25% tariff on imported steel and a 10% tariff on aluminum. That move has led trading partners to threaten retaliation and opened the way for a trade war the president said he welcomed.
