Yellow fever is a potentially fatal illness that is preventable by vaccination. As of March 15, a total of 10 unvaccinated travelers to Brazil had acquired yellow fever this year, and four of the 10 had died. These travelers were visiting from Argentina, Chile, France, Germany, Netherlands, Romania, and Switzerland.
