Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd. and JAXA announce the launch schedule of H-IIA Launch Vehicle No. 32 with X-band defense communication satellite-2 (* 1) on board as follows;

Launch Date: January 24, 2017
Launch Time: 4:44 p.m. (JST, Japan Standard Time)
Launch Window: 4:44 through 5:58 p.m. (JST) (*2)
Reserved Launch Period: January 25 through February 28, 2017

(*1) Built and operated by DSN Corporation, subsidiary of SKY Perfect JSAT Corporation, as part of development and operation of X-band satellite communications for the Japanese Ministry of Defense.

(*2) Launch time during this period will vary.
