BREAKING: Troubled VA center's director gets new post while under investigation

  The director of a Veterans Affairs medical center in Shreveport, La., was transferred to a regional center in Mississippi after a months-long investigation revealed systemic problems at the hospital under his direction. The move confounded agency whistle-blowers, who thought that Undersecretary for Health David Shulkin, President Trump's nominee to head the VA, would take stronger action.
