Deaths registered in England and Wales, provisional: week ending 24 Mar 2017

The provisional number of deaths registered in England and Wales in the week ending 24 March 2017 (week 12) was 10,325; this represents a decrease of 372 deaths registered in comparison with the previous week (week 11).

The average number of deaths for the corresponding week over the previous 5 years was 10,193.
