"TAX REFORM JUST GOT REAL. WHY THE GOP TAX PLAN IS GREAT NEWS FOR AMERICA"- Adam Michel, The Daily Signal
Adam Michel of The Daily Signal writes on the tax reform plan President Trump announced on Wednesday that would "lower taxes for individual Americans… double the standard deduction for individuals and thereby expand the zero-percent bracket." The framework will also create three income tax brackets as opposed to the current seven, cut the corporate tax rate to 20 percent, introduce a territorial business tax system, and "allow all Americans to keep more of their hard-earned money in their pockets," Michael reports. The additional repeal of the "death tax" encourages support for tax reform as well as strengthen the economy, Michael concludes, and it is tax reform like this that "can truly make America great again by unleashing higher wages, more jobs, and untold opportunity."
