Penn researchers lay groundwork to better understanding optical properties of glass 09/22/2017 05:52 PM EDT Researchers at the University of Pennsylvania demonstrated a new packing of glass with unique optical properties. What they learned could lead to innovations in technology, such as glass with different mechanical properties, and may elucidate some fundamental aspects of glass formation.
