Week 40, 02 to 08 October 2017 National Syndromic Surveillance Summary: There were further small increases in respiratory indicators across a number of systems during week 40, however all systems showed a decrease in asthma/wheeze/difficulty breathing indicators. Of note this week: Chart showing daily NHS 111 difficulty breathing calls (and 7-day moving average) as a percentage of total calls (all ages, England).
