Vice President Mike Pence at the Wall Street Journal CEO Gathering Yesterday, Vice President Mike Pence participated in the Wall Street Journal CEO Council gathering in Washington, D.C. The Vice President took questions regarding the Unified Framework for Tax Reform that is designed to ensure that all Americans are treated fairly, workers are able to keep more of their hard-earned money, and companies are incentivized to bring jobs back to the United States. By eliminating loopholes that disproportionately benefit the wealthy, promoting an attractive economic climate in the United States, and reducing the complexity of our current tax code, this "America First" tax reform plan will propel our Nation towards historic economic growth. "This is a gathering of leaders of consequence. It's amazing to think that companies gathered here represent $2.5 trillion in annual revenue and millions of jobs across the United States of America. So we thank you for your leadership. We thank you for your investment in America and your belief in America's future. We know that communities large and small, across this country, depend on the companies that are represented here and the decisions you make each and every day." Vice President Pence said.
