New York Police Commissioner James O'Neill identified the suspect in Monday's explosion in a passageway near a Times Square transit hub as 27-year-old Akayed Ullah. Ullah exploded a "low-tech" device that was attached to his body, injuring himself and three others standing nearby, O'Neill said. None of the injuries was considered life-threatening. Mayor Bill de Blasio said the incident was an "attempted terrorist attack" and that there were no other activities connected to the incident.
